The Commission is aimed at making soil, as a central environmental medium, accessible to the general public. At this purpose, the Commission adresses multipliers in schooling as well as in continuing education. Furthermore, the Commission gets involved in developing the general awareness for soil and soil protection.

The Commission regularly offers lectures and continuing education events, which are open to public. In addition, the Commission brings in touch regional consultants for teaching staff.
