Within a few days after submission of the above membership request form you will receive a questionnaire together with a request for direct billing for the yearly membership fee.

As  soon as the society receives the filled out questionnaire and the direct debit mandate your membership in the DBG begins. Your membership number and a password for the protected pages of the DBG web site will be transmitted to you.

For foreign (non-German) members the membership begins with the arrival of the paid fee at the bank "Volksbank" in Göttingen.
