We would like to share here the draft agenda for this year’s Plenary Meeting on 23-24 April and the link to the registration tool. The meeting will be hybrid, however, we hope to welcome many of you in-person.

Day 1 would focus on our new project, namely the European Voluntary Guideline for Sustainable Soil Management (ESP_SSM). We will create an extended Table of Content (eToC), and discuss the writing process.

Day 2 would enable a deep dive into the 6 Action Areas (see here).

For Day 1, we would like to ask you to nominate one or several thematic experts in various relevant topic areas; the current agenda summarizes these areas. Please enable them to join our meeting, while we would continue the nomination process after the upcoming meeting, once the eToC is agreed. However, even at this early stage, we would like to organize thematic pitches with the experts present/online. The needed expertise includes knowledge of soil degradation process and how soil management would effectively restore soil health (considering regional implementing conditions).  

During the writing process, these experts would share reference literature, guide the regionalized recommendation of best practice, and review the draft guideline.
